An office equipment lease is an agreement between a customer and a copy machine supplier in which the supplier agrees to provide the customer with a copy machine for a specified period of time.
Copier leases can last from 1 to 5 years, during which time the customer pays a monthly fee to lease the copier.
The customer pays a one-time fee at the beginning of the lease term, and the monthly fee covers the cost of the copier, most copier leases do not include the service contract of the machine, that is billed also monthly.
